At the heart of this project lies outdoor learning, well-being, and community engagement.
We envisage ‘The Hub’ alive with the vibrancy of our community – buzzing with sharing, learning and laughter.
Soundings confirm a strong community support for this opportunity. An experienced eco-architect will be engaged to create a beacon of good environmental practice that demonstrates the lowest possible carbon footprint, use of renewable energy, water harvesting and minimising waste – the possibility of building within a mounded ‘hill’ could enhance landscaping opportunities and integration of recreational facilities.
The Hub would be home to a café or kiosk, toilets, meeting rooms and spaces needed to support continuous outdoor and life-long learning as well as community creativity.
